If you've never been in an airplane let me tell you what it's like: You take off, your wings work and your wheels stop doing anything, and all of your problems, worries, and fears stay stuck to the ground, while you climb and float above the clouds which make a foggy miserable day for most others who are forced to live underneath them. Above them you enjoy the sunlit splendor that is an infinite, unbinding sky; when you look into the distant horizon where the high thrown white waves or tall green blades of grass on hilltops mix with the blue of the sky, you could swear that you are looking directly into divinity. So that's why I fly airplanes for a living. I own and operate my own business out of Monterey County with which I teach people to fly airplanes of all types and fly privately for customers in private aircraft. I grew up in Aviation, and I'm blessed to be able to do what I love for a living. I travel quite a bit with my job, but I do enjoy my time at home to relax, unwind, read, cook, and go out. I road bike nearly every day to stay in shape. Bicycling is as close to flying as I can get attached to the ground; I think that's why I love it so much.
