Destiny - Meeta

Have you noticed that we all have one (a destiny that is). So does the husband lay down his for his wife to pursue hers? Does the wife forfeit her destiny when she marries her husband? Or do they hope that the continued pursuit of their destiny is compatible with this union of husband and wife? Or finally, do they both abandon that phase of their lives and look to receive new destinies compatible with being a unit?
